aQuaTox-Solutions GmbH is a privately owned and independent company which was founded in November 2016. After successful evaluation by an independent expert committee, we could start off as Eawag Spin-Off in February 2017. The Spin-Off label came along with great support and we could benefit from having access to Eawag infrastructure. This was a fantastic arrangement for our first five years of operation, enabling us to steadily building up our circle of customers. Due to the constantly increasing demand for our animal alternative testing portfolio we were able to open our own business location and laboratories in Winterthur in October 2021 giving aQuaTox-Solutions a new home basis to work on its mission. In January 2023 we obtained the Good Laboratory Practise (GLP) certification from the Swiss GLP Monitoring Authorities. Since then we have it confirmed on paper that we work with highest quality standards for our clients.
