Our mission: Setting new standards for evaluating the toxicity of chemicals to fish and for assessing fish health by applying and developing alternative and animal-free models to replace conventional animal tests.

History

  • We are privately owned and independent, founded in November 2016
  • Received the Spin-off label of Eawag, the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology, in 2017
  • Building our business successfully and experiencing growing demands, we opened our own business location and laboratories in Winterthur in October 2021
  • We obtained Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certification from the Swiss GLP Monitoring Authorities, always aiming at highest quality standards for our clients

  • We are four partners with complemental training in biological, toxicological and environmental sciences
  • Together we have more than 30 years of experience in running a business
  • We have highly motivated, well trained and experienced personnel
  • We offer decades of experience in chemical and water testing using alternative methods replacing fish toxicity tests
  • We developed a cell-based OECD test guideline and ISO standard
